Ive been given a set of mudflaps for the 206 over the weekend and have come to fit them today. However I cant for the life of me work out how they bolt on. Ive tried the 206 forum & google but get either nothing or just websites where I can buy more.

Anybody ever fitted these or know anybody who has? Got any advice I can have please?

Many Thanks

Lee

Do they not just use a horse shoe style clip to fit to the body panels?

They have some sort of clip with them, wouldnt really say it was horse shoe style however.

Probably Fittings hidden under gromets in the arches if they are genuine items - otherwise Just use Duct tape or sikaflex wink

Ive got the genuine mudflaps, but its only an LX so no such fancy things from the factory really. Not 100% if it will have anywhere to mount them to allready of if i have to imrpovise.

They don't make different shells for LX or Gti's (sunroof exception)

Line the Mud flaps up on the car and see what you see - if there is a grommet of similar in the line of the holes - you'll see what needs to be done

I know the shell isnt different, but the wheel arch linings might be slightly different, theres no grommits either, ill get a picture of the clips up tommorow so people can see.

Wheel arch linings are different between GTi's and the rest at the front. The sports arches/sports bumper use different linings. Other than that they're exactly the same. The rears should be identical.
