I found this video over at speedhunters, there's quite a few shunts during this hillclimb..

The GTR at 2:40 suffers from the £11k Bonnet pop, and it looks like the side window breaks.. I can't imagine that being cheap.

Bit of a st off to be honest, I can't make head nor tail of how he managed to not slow down for the corner.

Hah, I was in the middle of watching it when I posted it up.. The GTR is by no means the worst off.

True that, still a shame to see it totalled.

This is why the UK needs to change it's laws on closed road competition. Imagine the number of venues we could have in the UK for closed road hill-climbs.

looked like it could be fixed didnt hit anything hard.

Some great driving and great cars going up the hills.

Liked the way the white clio and silver polo didnt even lift as they clip the barrier on the long right hander and just keep it flat out.

Wouldnt fancy doing those hills in the quicker cars (single seaters, proper sports cars and ex dtm cars) as there's too many solid objects to hit if it all goes wrong. Brave stuff!

That CSL crumpled quite well!

Shame there wasn't a complete on-board run.

The UK venues are usually less than a mile long, but tend to be half as wide - and you get everything on them from vintage Bentley and Bugatti to not very old F1/F3 cars.

You even get a few 'soap box' cars ;-)

Dont think it was the side window popping on the GTR...I think it was the airbag!!! Surely a write off if it was???

That video is a compilation of a whole season's worth of crashes. This is more or less the only legal motorsport in Switzerland AIUI, so I'm guessing quite a few of these guys work in banking...

Some very bad driving there at times. Love those DTM type Mercs. Great sound.
