I was looking at the white UK supra they have.

Does anybody have any info on these chaps, good or bad?

They seem to trade under different names, Boyz Toyz, Bargain Cars Direct, Anytime Cars etc

The white uk spec is very expensive is it not? I presume you are 100% after a uk spec otherwise lots of other cars are better value.

I try not to get caught up in dealers too much, they will all in my opinion get good, bad and indifferent cars (the ratios of each I accept will vary) so you'll have to go and look at old supra's like this and judge the car purely on its own merit.

I would emphasise though that I think this car is overpriced but then manual uk spec cars are (very) thin on the ground.

I have seen them trading under the name Boyz Toyz before, they seemed to be almost exclusively a Supra dealer last time I saw them.

Buy on condition, scrutinise the paperwork with your highest level of dilligence, and if it checks out, go for it. I tend to be cautious of car dealers at the best of time, especially ones dealing in high power import cars. Lots of steps in the chain where paperwork could go missing, get "edits" etc.

Reading that thread and the follow-on thread doesn't make them sound the best, especially how they changed name when they started getting bad feedback on that supra forum, haven't bothered finding out how they got the bad rep initially but if you are considering buying from them you should.

Just read all the comments on the supra forum and if I were the op I wouldn`t touch them with a barge pole. If a dealer is threatening legal action then they must be worried about what else will come out about themselves. That is my opinion anyway.
There are plenty of well loved supra`s out there so just bide your time and a goodun will come along.
