I have a low mileage 3.2DSG TT that I use purely to visit clients and sites; effectively just for business.

I'm having new discs and pads fitted to the front at a cost of £400 on Monday, but apart from that, there's nothing wrong with it.

However, I've got an urge to change it for a slightly more economical run around such as Cooper S or A200T, but is it really worth it just to save a few £'s on fuel? I do approximately 2k per month.

Any thoughts?

At that sort of millage (appreciate it's not exactly loads for some) I'd be looking at a small diesel hatch, and replace the TT for something similar, but just for the weekends/fun

I've just downgraded as I would rather save money on fuel, probably a bit like you, it wasn't that I couldn't afford it, it just started becoming unreasonable to spend that much..I'm now getting 55mpg rather than 20!
