Must have a Great Ride.
hang on, I've got a nearly new magic carpet out back.....
Not a great ride, just not a boneshaker on longer journeys.
Perhaps the panda's ride is not so bad, never driven one, just being a review slave
I appreciate how limited these criteria are so not expecting much in the way of quality or icons, 5 isn't bad so far.

Out of interest, why the 2005 limit?
Alcohol assisted musing....For a 100 mile a day commute replace diesel hatchbck with a reliable, low mileage albeit less comfortable 100bhp/T petrol, smaller the better. 4 seats as it needs to be a stand in kids carrier. 2005 seemed to throw up cheap, 40k mile examples. May only be a 1yr experience, rather than the 3 yr+ if I bought a £8k diesel.
I intended this thread to be about the available cars rather than the circumstance

Oh and this misses the age but does everything else really well.

Is this a MK1? If so then that's 7 on the list
MK1 Yaris T-Sport: http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Summary.aspx?m...The MK2 Yaris never had a T-Sport, only the 2007-on SR 1.8, but no chance at £4k.
