I think this is known as a "lucky escape!"

After watching the video and looking at the pic time and again I'm literally stumped at WTF has happened here.

I can only imagine it happened in film-style slow motion - to the sound of Benny Hill

Got out of the window? Doors closed by emergency services to stop the car tipping over?

I think that's possible.
If you look at the snow it's banked up where the cars bonnet/windscreen is, meaning it could be leaning on a stack of snow. And the car will be LHD, so the drivers door could well be open but on the other side of the car.

Watch the video, neither door is open.

I really cannot see how it would just come to a halt perfectly balanced, and even if it did I imagine the driver would be too bloody petrified to even move, never mind get out.

Although I suppose the laws of chance say that out of all the car flips in the world, one must end up balanced like this.

Every now and then if you drop a coin on the floor it will end up on its edge.

Plus we've already had Smart cars crashing and ending up pointing at the sky.

I don't think it is perfectly balanced - the big pile of compacted snow is stopping it from tipping onto the roof.
