I've recently decided to downgrade for a while so have sold the 350z and I'm looking at iethe a Clio 172 cup, or a Mazda mx5 mk2 or maybe a mk1.
The other half has owned a mk2 and a cup in the past and I have driven both and found them very entertaining...

I want to do a few trackdays and the odd Sunday blast... plus a short commute each day.

Will i look a pansy in the mk2 mx5 and will I look a boy racer in the cup?!

Can I deal with the power decrease after the 350 to a 1.8 mx5?

I don't get the whole "looking like a pansy" thing with MX5s. It's not something that bothers me. From the drivers seat I can't see what I look like, but I do know what it feels like (lots of fun).

I would get a Mk2.5 MX5 if you can. Keep an eye out for a 1.8 Sport

MX5 MK2.

Turbo.

£5000 or there abouts.

Lots of change from the 350 and still lots of fun.

You can still get a MX5 MK2 1.8 (With LSD) for less than that smile

Only 140bhp but excellent handling as you'll already know.

Yeah the wife had a 1.6 base spec... I would think a track prepped 1.8 would be v fun!

Yep, the 1.8 with LSD is pretty entertaining. Not going to set any world records for speed but loads of fun smile
