Don't bother with 6x9's Much better to get a decent set of front component drivers (any well known brand will do so long as they fit? and a small active sub for the boot.
Oh right I would never have thought of that as an option. Her car does not have any rear speakers?Sorry I know nothing about 'ICE'
As above, avoid 6x9's - thy muddy up the sound and sound crap 95% of the time. They're only useful in very specific circumstances when properly installed and powered.
What car is this for?
Get onto owners club forums and talkaudio.co.uk for inspiriation and advice. Car audio is a bit of a minefield and a potential money pit so you need a clear idea of budgets and goals before you 'nip down to halfords' and buy completely the wrong thing.
