Anyone else think RWD is over rated.

Just had a go (dont tell him though) in my dads 330i, tried to get it sideways with very little luck, even with traction off,
apart from the fact it was impossible to go sideways, got me thinking, they are uselss in the snow, useless at going sideways and tbh IMHO overrated, almost as much as the MX-5.
look like a hairdresser even if they are fun to drive.

can i just correct you, what you meant to say is "I can't get my dads 330i sideways" which just shows that you have absolutely no idea of what you are doing! a 330i is perfectly capable of going sideways everywhere if you have the skills........
(besides, we did the whole "rwd is / isn't great" thing lask week about 5 times)

Give me (and many others on here for that matter) 2 minutes in your Dad's 330i and we'll get it oversteering easily.
It may or may not be overrated for some but not something you can say if you can't drive a RWD car properly.

This would be classic troll material if you hadn't made the mistake of thinking that rear wheel drive is all about going sideways, which it isn't.
