Little bit of radio help please

I am having to replace the radio in my new car as I have just found it is permanently drawing a ridiculous amount of current from the battery and with broken buttons on the head unit anyway it seems like a it is time for a replacement. (It is a non-original unit already and has never really worked, with the broken buttons.)
I have fitted replacement stereos in cars before but only ever in cars with 2 or 4 speakers, however my car now (e36 323 touring) has 6 speakers and I am not sure as to the availabilty of replacement radios for this. Also I need it to be capable of connecting with the cd changer in the boot.
I was hoping someone would be able to spread a little light on this whole subject and as to how the connections etc work as most of the radios I look at seem to only have 4x50W etc connections for the four main speakers and no mention of how the dash tweeters are powered?
I would have posted this in the BMW section but pretty sure there are plenty of cars with more than 4 speakers and any help would be useful. Though feel free to move to appropraite forum.
