What the hell has happened to this car to give it this damage? I cannot even begin to guess. Was it caught in an earthquake or something?! Maybe a jilted lover set about it with a golf club?

I'd say it was rolled at low speed in the snow/on a soft surface like a field

The owner couldn't stand the hideous wheeltrims and the cement mixer engine any more, so tried to put it out of it's misery.

I would guess at the car either fell from a car transporter or fell from a workshop ramp during PDI or something. Years ago I recall this happening when I worked in a BMW dealership to a 3 series cabriolet that the tester was testing (very funny at the time). The customers face was something I still remember to this day!!!!

Workshop ramp related damage is much more severe in my experience paperbag

I like the way the advert starts with "Lovely looking" - is that compared to a non-damaged example?

How much of that could be sorted by a good PDR specialist?

At that price given that nearly every panel is damaged wouldn't it be cheaper to buy an unknackered one. A quick look on Autotrader shows equivalents for around £1k more.

I agree... if I thought it was a bargain I wouldn't have posted the link... I'd have bought it! But it's almost a total wreck, and it even looks like the roof-line above the screen is dented. Nasty.

Lovely looking?

Yeh, if you like your cars to look like they've done a demolition derby.
