2011 Fiesta ST. Anyone know anything?
Discussion
I'm sure I read somewhere that the new ST is going to have a 1.6 turbo engine with somewhere around 180bhp. There are some pictures of a burgundy coloured one testing somewhere on the net. It had multispoke wheels like a clio 182 and twin exhausts.
Here it is, found it:

Rumoured to be the 1.6 EcoBoost engine. I would imagine with 180-200bhp.
Depends if they are aiming to compete with the hot hatches or "warm" hatches.
I would say the Clio 200 is the critics choice, are they trying to beat that?
Or are they going to tone it down a little bit again to keep the insurance down and more attractive to younger buyers?
I suppose it all comes down to if they would actually produce an RS version. Apparantly on the last fiesta, Ford asked the dealers if they thought there would be a market/customer interest for it and they replied no. If an RS was on the cards then maybe the ST would sit in the warm-warmer hatch range with the RS aiming for the Clio 200.
Just my thoughts and all rumours, none confirmed.
