Just sold my car in 20 seconds

I think ebay will treat it like any other non paying bidder which unfortunately means you have to pay for a new listing. You can file a non payment 'case' which refunds your original listing and final value fee after the 'case' is closed. I think it took a couple of weeks for the 'case' to close. I say 'case' because ebay do the square root of fk all to help you.
ETA: Forgot about having to wait before you can open the case as well.

Have you thought about sticking it in a salvage auction, some cars are selling for good money according to this thread:

Shouldn't the title be, I've not sold my car.
Unfortunately although e-bay is a wonderful medium for selling stuff, it gets frequented by cocks who get a kick out of fking up the system. It's about time that e-bay took a bit more responsibility & grew a pair of bks to clamp down on these idiots. Before Christmas I sold a Harley to a bidder from Spain, he was supposed to pay a £250 deposit with Paypal, balance to be paid on collection. Anyway he did at least turn up (having arranged transport etc) then tells me how great the bike is but he is about £500 short. Exit diego with no bike & wasted time, flights, hotel etc. Took nearly a month to get fees etc refunded from e-bay & had to re-list.
Out of interest, I don't know what others think, but when you see some thing & the ad reads re-advertised due to timewaster, how many think "oh yea, you mean the buyer turned up & it's a pile of crap" I always used to be suspicious but having had a couple of dealings with cocks, I now tend to believe it.

Give it time. I would be suprised if ebay got envolved as it's been abot an hour and 10 mins since he won the bid and you started this thread about 15 mins after you're car was sold. Don't expect immidiate response and relisting it is a bit silly as if the bidder contacts you after you've sold your car to someone else within a few days, he could get ebay involved and they would likley be on his side.

Fair enough, I have relisted it though with 'The right to remove early' now and its just bidding, no reserves or Binsberry100 said:
Just relist car, file the non payer case in a few days then you'll get that back eventually. In the meantime you can sell yours, make sure you change your settings though to stop twunts with no feedback bidding.
That is they key, I usually limit to a feedback score of at least 10.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
