Ok - a few beers with a dear mate tonight - and I struggled on this one:

  • Money no object**
  • must be able to take mrs + baby**
  • must be a rocket ship**
  • must be a looker**
  • must be reliable**
He's got a DB9 at the moment (but it's "p1ss poor quality")

So what do you think?

I say Merc CL63AMG - thoughts?

E60 M5 Touring? May fail on the 'looker' criteria - but it has a certain quality about it.

I went for that also - too much "chairman of the board"

Is it acceptable to put the baby in the boot?

If so, I reckon I can come up with a fair few ideas

I thought this until the last point. I think it excels in other areas though... Would be my choice anyway .. reliability is for loosers wink

Supercharged RRS?
Rolls Royce Ghost/Phantom?
Continental GT Supersport (or whatever it's called)

Or maybe get an order in for that new 4 wheel drive Ferrari bread van thing

The Ferrari California is a 2+2, so in theory you should be able to get a child in the back. Alternatively the Scaglietti will also seat 4.

I would go for the Scaglietti. Probably looking at a price tag of around the £200k mark

I'd be having a Carlsson E63 AMG!

Or a Bentley Continental SS - 4 seat option?

Is the DB9 really that bad!?!?

Who cares about reliability- money is no object here. So buy two or three, so that if one does break down you will always have another to use

I think a Quattroporte is where my money would be going anyway.

I did go for the Conti GT SS - but too footballers wives

And yes, DB9 is that bad - I ended up saying a 997 GT3 RS + Rug-rat-mobile - but that's just mesmile
