Driving through Fort Lauderdale this morning I spotted this:


Then looked up the spec for it on the website advertising it.

"Two 1,830-hp MTU Diesels with 600 hours total time, Cruise at 35 knots or max at 40+ knots"
I wonder how much fuel it takes to fill it up and how far it would travel at 40+ knots......
It's also featured in the Visa Black Advert!

There is one of those in Yacht Haven marina over here, went past me once when I was on my 24ft Crownline, it has surface drives which produce the most stunning rooster tails, up to 30ft high, nearly capsized mine in the wake of it. Re the fuel bill, I think they take 5 metric tons for both engines, giving you a range of about 350 nautical miles at top speed.
