Having had good experiences with Porsche and BMW on extending the warranty, Audi has disappointed...

£1,300 for a year of warranty and roadside on a TT is frankly taking the piss!

Audi warranties have almost always been a lot more expensive than BMW's/Porsche. Maybe Audi know something? wink

They're almost Scuderia level. I didn't bother renewing mine....2yrs would have been circa £3200; £4k would buy a new DSG gearbox comfortably. A used R32/R36 engine can also be had if the chain breaks.

If it were more sensible I would have done it.

Got my local dealer giving it a once over before it expires and whilst they do the free first MOT!

Only had experience of BMW warranties, price increases significantly after 60k miles.
How do others compare? I remember being in conversation with a Mercedes dealership a couple of years ago that were selling a 40k mile 2003 CLK55 AMG, I was all up for buying it until they mentioned that the warranty would be from the AA despite it being sold from a main dealers. Didn't fill me with much confidence so I purchased a M3 instead, with full warranty from BMW.
