Fuel consumption for a 2004/2005 Landrover Discovery Auto?

I've done a bit of googling and can find fuel consumption for the manual, but not the auto.

My dad is considering replacing his petrol 2l Jag with a 2004/05 Discovery Diesel 7 seater. He's concerned that the fuel costs will be much higher than he currently incurs - but wants figures to support it. If his car does 4000 miles in one year he sees it as being a highly mobile year, but he still worries about the consumption! Where could I find the published figures for fuel consumption for older models? Honest John has the manual consumption figures but not the auto box ones.

You're looking at around 22 around town and 28 on a run sticking to the speed limits.

For his mileage, I wouldn't have thought that'd be a problem.
