Will this do any damage? Got a new battery today (old one's replacement on its guarantee), put it in the footwell to change at home. Fell on its side and didn't notice it. Will this do any damage to it?

Might do some damage to you and the car if any of the acid has leaked out

No acid has leaked out of the battery, just wondered if there may be any internal damage before I fit it?

No. It'll be fine.

Battery will be fine. The only damage it would have done is leaked acid. One of the biggest problems with wet batteries and why we use gel sealed ones for racing.

No.

All it contains are plates and acid so it doesn't matter, as long as it's not being charged while on it side (as plates will be exposed and buckle) and nothing leaked out, that's a simple fix just top it up.
