Just got back from Tescos..ish..to buy some milk for the parsley sauce. Think it must be the most expensive pint ever, about a quarter of a tank of unleaded...foolishly grabbed the 944 keys as it was out of the garage and ended up taking a very extented/scenic route...but do have a real smile on my face and massive appreciation for my car biggrin

How many other PH'ers have a habit of doing this and whats the longest/most costly "scenic route" you've done?

Darlington - Calais to get some decent coffee *?

* I may have fitted in an overnight and a meeting in Brussels too - but the coffee was the real point of the trip, honest! wink

4am. Only place open for food is the Shell stations I know. Took a blast up the A3, serious blast, hit the service station near Hook, drove back home. 50-odd mile round trip for two cans of Relentless, a sandwich and some crisps. Loved it though!

Used to all the time. Often make excuses to go to the shops just for a drive.

Costs too much these days though.
