Does anyone know what the deal is with these offers Evans Halshaw have on Fiestas? Prices seem a bit too good to be true...

1.25 Studio £54pm - http://www.evanshalshaw.com/contact/ford-specialof...
1.25 Edge £59pm - http://www.evanshalshaw.com/contact/ford-specialof...
1.25 Zetec £65pm - http://www.evanshalshaw.com/contact/ford-specialof...
1.6 TDCI Econetic £68.99pcm - http://www.evanshalshaw.com/contact/ford-specialof...
1.4 Titanium £69pcm - http://www.evanshalshaw.com/contact/ford-specialof...
1.6 Zetec S £74pcm - http://www.evanshalshaw.com/contact/ford-specialof...

Rang the number up earlier to enquire but they weren't very helpful and wouldn't confirm if the prices are correct or not, just took my details and promised a call back from my local dealer, who didn't bother to contact me.

Is there likely to be a massive deposit attached, or are those prices incorrect? No mention of contract length etc. I'd normally prefer to buy outright in cash but at these prices leasing makes more sense.

Cheers

They look like mega offers and if you get a call back post it up because at that price I'd take 2.

But the small print bit says valid till december 2010

Might print out the page and go into the dealer in person at weekend if they don't call back. Your right about the date but they have it advertised on there main page which is what caught my eye

Tried ringing my local dealer and just got told all the salesmen are currently with customers laugh

Got promised another call back...

I hate trying to buy a new car.

Was just speaking to the Hull dealership.

He was fairly insistent the web prices are correct but he is going to call me back in 10mins with all the figures.
Nice one! Be very interested to hear what they say.

If you drive into London 9 times a month, the diesel would cover itself (I'm guessing it is free for the congestion chare)

I probably don't want 2 but would be after one to replace SWMBOs KA as a commuter for her.

Oh well.

Was there a final payment at the end of the term too?

It isn't much different to the special offer I got this morning from land rover, offering 0% on a Supercharged FFRR, £55,000 deposit and nothing to pay for 2 years then £33,000 guaranteed value or final payment.

I can manage the 2 years with no payments but am struggling with the deposit.

I looked at those last month, saw a deal for them £5500 brand new but the base trim is horrible

Just out of interest are there many deals out there like that? I'd happily put a large sum down if there where no monthly payments. Giving it back/ trading in after 2/3 years isn't a problem either. Not really in the market for a Land Rover though...

No idea, it just landed in my email this morning. They are doing something similar on the Freelander too but it is still a landrover (though a very good one).

Not necessarily at that rate it sounds about right with the grand deposit. Possibly + VAT though.
