Audi appears to have literally disappeared up its own backside (or at least its ad agency has made it seem that way). Nice.

Funny I suppose, but comparing an award-winning road car with LMP racing success is a bit old hat.

On that basis I'm off to buy a Citroen C4, since they've won the WRC four times, or maybe even a Xsara!

The A6 won World Car of The Year the previous year too, but still, their LeMans victories are a massive achievement for the company, why not rub it in BMWs face?

The fairy lights on the Audi are nasty-looking. And with either car, I can't help thinking, all these gizmos only means... more trips to the dealer for software upgrades, replacement modules, etc.

Its easy to gloat when BMW doesn't even race at Le Mans.

Incidently, the last time BMW did enter a prototype at Le Mans...who was it that won?




I'm not even a BMW, or Audi fan really.....I just think that Audi are comparing apples & pears in that article.

TBH audi are playing a dangerous game as mercedes dont have much of a sense of humour when it comes to this sort of thing. They sued bmw once for similar antics iirc.

Thankfully audi and bmw have been having a laugh at each others expense for years now though. It works for them both.
