Ok, So I'm in a bit of a predicament

I bought my S2000 last summer, Jap Import, 60,000miles on the clock, MY99

however, 5 weeks later, the engine kind of gave up on me.

I'm looking at about £3000 to get it back on the road with a replacement engine and fitting.

It was a spare of the moment kind of thing and tbh, regret buying it now as it cost quite a lot of money (between £8k-10k, wont go into specifics) and since it broke down, I haven't really missed having a car anyway. I work next door to where I live and mostly get the train to London at the weekends anyway.

Is it worth even spending £3,000 on getting it repaired...or should i just count my losses, break it down and sell the parts.
Since it has no service history (it was imported from Japan just before i got it and I'm the only owner since)

how much do you think i can get for it if it scarp it? How much do you think it's worth if i fix it and then sell it?

Looking at the car, i'm fully aware that the styling is rather 'niche' and it'll be hard to find someone to buy it even once i've fixed it.
