BMW X3 3.0D

Folks,

I am intrigued by a X3 Sport, but only the 3 litre TDi.

Anyone on here have any ideas of the fuel consumption ?? Most of my miles are 90 leptons motorway.

I'm assuming an auto here, but does a Bluefin (or equiv) improve/kill the fule consumption more ???

Ed, I see from your garage you had a A4 Avant 3.0Tdi ... I have another thread running for this vehicle as well ... What mpg did you get from it ??

Depended if it was me or my wife driving it! On average mid 30's IIRC, into the 40's on a run.

On a run being 70/80/90 leptons ? Sorry for the questions, I'm just getting very sick of 20mpg of SUL in the Subaru ... plus the breaking down etc ... time for a change

'The Subaru' would be perfectly reliable (unfettled), what have you done to it, and would you modify your next car in the same way to negate its reliability?

Yeah, went to a VW tdi, due to 4 years of amazing, unforgetable, massive fuel bill Impreza fun. No regrets, just time to move on. Given the chance I'd have another in the garage tomorrow.
