Now that the weather is (briefly) clearing up have you noticed any change in your car?

Mine now pulls to the left mad thanks to the rather large chunk of road missing from the A46.

I know countless other people will have exactly the same issue but it is still frustrating having to pay out to get the geometry sorted, especially with the price of seemingly everything else going up.

Otherwise the car feels slightly rougher but I'm sure nothing that a good oil change won't change...I hope!

My left hand handbrake cable seized, which nuked the rear pads. The slightly rusty rear arch is a little more rusty than before now too.

I have a v50 volvo, a few days after it snowed and I opened the tailgate, icy snow dropped off the roof and tailgate and into the scoops that accomodate the tailgate hinges so when the tailgate shuts it forces the hinges upwards leaving the tailgate out of line and bending the rear hinge panel.it made some nice bumps in the roof kind of like a mazda 3 but done with a lump hammer.
My insurers didnt blink and I got it back within two weeks as well but it`s
Odd for volvo, snow is one thing they should know about really.

Apart from the car being a lot grubbier, the tailgate struts are enjoying the warmer weather. They had a bit of a droop on during the cold spell.

Just my mpg suffering this year. Car passed its MOT after a drive to the garage in deep snow smile

Last year however, a pothole buckled a wheel and damaged a wishbone arm. That wasnt a cheap day for me !

Our terrible roads seem to have ruined the tracking, its all over the place at the moment. It also killed off the dying MAF sensor.

I know its not the snow entirely but i am sure the amount of grit and salt accelerated the rust but my exhaust fell off the other day because of rust in one area. Only cost a small amount to fix however is wasn't blowing before hand so probably had a few months left of life in it. Shame really, i was looking forward to a bit of bangernomics this year.

Winter has cost me a new set of HT Leads in the shogun as they were arcing out and it forced me to swap a battery in the Prelude that I knew was dying anyway...the cold was so bad it wouldnt even hold charge overnight whereas normally turning it over every day was keeping it going.

I've only got the one rust bubble, but it's slowly marching along and getting worse. fking rust!

Other than that, my old Fiesta has not missed a beat this winter.

I think a ball joint or driveshaft has died on the coupe and the wheels are growing a pelt
