Dear all,

I'm coming back to Blighty in April for a couple of weeks, and will be doing a fair bit of travelling (Cornwall, London and the Lake District). As it's Mrs Bing o's first visit to the UK, I want something a bit nicer than a diesel Pug 207.

I'd appreciate some recommendations on decent car hire places and what car I should go for. I've seen a 1 series BMW but I'm not sure if the boot will be big enough for 2 suitcases and a set of golf clubs.

My budget is about 5-600 quid for 11-12 days, and needs to be a pickup in Bournemouth and drop off at Heathrow.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Try Thrifty, last year I had a Golf GTi DSG in the Full Size Auto group, a Passat CC in the Premium group, BMW 330d in the Luxury group and I think now they have added the Saab 93 convertable.
