Bit of a long shot, head bolt size?
Discussion
Long story short, trying to get headbolts out of a 2000 Vectra, 2.2 Petrol sri, Z22SE engine.
The socket i have isnt right, its slightly too big and im not going to chance it. Im going to borrow a socket and proper good wrench of someone who lives quite far away.
What is the exact size of the bolt? Would an autodata book tell me what mm they are? I could go and measure but all ive got is a ruler...
If anyone knows, or has a data book that tells me the exact size, i would be in your debt

My x22xe has torx T55 headbolts,I would think your engine might be the same . Just a thought, have you made sure there is no oil/sludge in the top of the bolt head stopping your socket from seating properly?
PS you will need new bolts any way so why not order the tool along with the bolts, it might be cheaper than driving a long way just to borrow a tool.
