Seems like it's priced right, if it was two years younger.
Is the price okay?

That seems very overpriced IMO.

It's one of the first mk5's that were available. I didn't think they did a GTTDi right away?

Edit: WhatCar valuation:

That's of a 1.9 TDi sport manual i think, they didn't have GT TDi in the list for 2004.

Those two cars are not really comparable though since the older one has massively higher spec.

That seems well over priced for a 2004 to me.

Thanks for the heads up guys.
We passed on the Golf, and just put a deposit on this black Passat
http://www.thealemotors.co.uk/used-volkswagen-cars...

It was the best we found, for the price, and options.
We *think*/*hope* its a good car for the price.

I really wanted DSG, but its a manual. The options I really wanted are rare enough, for that year/mileage.

What does the PH collective think?

There's more over-priced Golfs on the used market than you can shake a stick at. I had a look around and then spent my money elsewhere for much better value.

Nearly £10k for what will be a 7 year old diesel Golf this year.

Thats just crazy.

Golfs are like Apple products. You buy a brand name and image, quality and functionality comes second...
