far too much like sense ...

what I still cant understand are those who remove the head restraints from the front seats of cars , despite the fact the evidence says they work ( and work best if properly adjusted for your height) - you can sort of understand removing the rears if people rarely (if ever) carry rear seat passengers and do lots and lots of manouvering or have the seats up and down for carrying stuff ...

They are usually easily removable, although I don't know the Jeep very well. It may just be velcroed on if it's not adjustable.

Thanks for the comedy replies - your talent is wasted !

l've tried to remove it, but there is no obvious way of releasing it. l thought there might be a lever or catch or something?

l want to get rid of it as it restricts the rear view and nobody will ever sit in the middle.

If there's no obvious way of doing it then mostly it's pull upwards. Hard.

A little oil down each leg before you try can help, too.

The only people who take front headrests out are doing filming in the car.

My nan always removed the headrests; the car was quite modern compared to everything she was used to (1990 Astra hehe), nothing before that actually had them. I was about 8-9 when I started insisting on having my one on, and she just didn't understand it. Plus she made me remove it every time I got out of the car laugh

Wash your trousers afterwards though, it stains...

she had probably been told it went faster without them ,less drag etc .

They buy if from Suzuki. Rhino stuff is cheaper than Buffalo apparently.
