Insurance 'dodginess' makes the main stream press

Question is whether reduced information sharing will make the market more competitive as firms fight for business more aggressively on price versus an 'unseen' competitor, or will it make prices sneak up as firms err on the side of caution and price realistically on risk rather than 'beating the competition'

Although seven insurers were involved there are plenty of other insurers in the market so if they kept their prices high policyholders would have simply gone to the ones not involved in matching rating factors?.
