Cars you wonder why they sold them in the UK

As a counterpoint to this thread: Cars not sold in the UK, what cars are there that make you wonder why the manufacturer bothered trying to sell them here? Their styling, cost or mechanical configuration seemingly making it obvious that they would only sell in tiny numbers.

e.g.

Volkswagen Passat W8



and

Subaru Triberica

[Gizmo!]

This age Camaro.



Residuals are testament to how wrong they got it.
