This has been laying in my workshop for sometime as part of a load of stuff I bought as a lot. I haven't a clue what it's off? Any ideas? cheers.

Looks like a k-jet metering head, possibly XR3i/RS Turbo

It's a K Jettronic fuel metering head and airbox. it's from a 4 cylinder car (as there are 4 injector feed pipes!!) Most likely either the aformentioned Xr3i or some flavour of VW golf. There's bound to be either a FoMoCo or VW logo on the airbox plastics to tell you which!

Agreed its not an rs turbo one as the airbox assembly is different looking at the bracket on the side i would think it is a xr3i one as the golf one fits tight to the offside wing.

VW didn't use the red fuel lines.

I'd say it was XR3 as the RS Turbo one appears "upside down" due to the turbo

Is it just me that can only see 3 pipes?

In which case, could it be off a BMW K75 bike?

Looks fairly similar to a MK2 Golf GTI Metering head which someone has replaced the pipes on

just looking at the same metering head in my gartage,it`s xr3i,the semi circular bracket on the side is the same and the red pipes follow the same pattern, looking at that picture its the `fifth injector` pipe and the inlet and return pipe.
