Looking for one of the above to hire for my wedding car in the Bedfordshire area and am not having much luck, just wondered if anyone on here could recommend some companies?

The one place I found with the Maserati are booked the particular day (yourspecialoccasionscar.co.uk, they also claim to be the only place that offer one for weddings in the south, hoping that isn't the case!). I have found somewhere that hire out a chauffeured new XJ, but that's in London and charged by the hour, so the journey up to Bedfordshire bumps the price up quite a bit.

I had thought about hiring an XF from Thrifty, but I wouldn't want to be lumbered with the 'or similar' option, plus most branches don't seem to be open Saturday afternoon or at all on Sunday which would make dropping the thing off a bit tricky.

Any suggestions much appreciated!

XJ - good old English heritage

Massa - pretty cool, bit different and very sexy

I`d probably go Massa

Sorry think you've misread my post, probably wasn't clear enough. I was hoping for recommendations of places to hire the things, not which one to go for!

We had a Quattroporte for our wedding from this place:

http://www.vintage-wedding-cars.com/

The car is running some distinctly non-standard pipes and sounds incredible! The owner drove the car for us and once he realised that we were interested in appreciating the performance, he absolutely caned it. We beat the coach that the rest of our guests were on from Petersfield to Southampton by about 20 minutes!

Cheers for the link! The wedding is in Biggleswade (a little north of Stevenage) so quite a way from Farnborough, will give them a try though.

When we spoke to the guy he mentioned that he had done a wedding in Birmingham the week before so I don't think he minds travelling. He was also pretty cheap - I think we paid about £150 for Petersfield to Southampton which is about 30 miles.
