Suitable bullet / minute camera for recording car crime

Hi,

I've just found out a colleague at work has been suffering for several years from car vandalism whereby someone is pouring somethin like brake fluid / acid on his car fairly regularly.

So regular over the 3 years that in fact that he has already installed an outdoor camera monitoring his car and I've seen the fottage today. The person now shields themselves with an umbrella.

Can anyone recommend a car based system that is hidden / so small that no one could see it at night that can potentially record a whole night's events or is motion sensitive?

I know I'll get the "what has he done to deserve this" or "he'ds probably borught this upon himself" but he's a genuinely likeable chap and goes with the cliche he's so laid back he's nearly horizontal.

Any recommendations gratefully received. A conviction / identification of vandal would be fantastic.

I bought a tiny little camara from ALDI a little while back as I suspected my flat mate was stealing from me (she was).

It cost £30 I think, waterproof with IR and a mic. I was very impressed.
