Maybe.

Nobody seems to spec new BMWs in red for obvious reasons.

But I'd have a second hand one in red.

Probably looks miles better in the metal. Camera exposure used looks wrong.

Not quiet true, check out some of the BMW forums.

It's a small pool, but there are folk who'll squabble at the chance to buy a red e39.

The E39's that are sought after are imola red (same or similar to the Z4M colour, a nice deep rich red) - that E60 red really doesn't suit the lines of the car and is far too bright IMO from the few i've seen in the flesh.

Red suits E30 and E36 bmw's. Come to think of it, ive never seen a red E39 5 series.

In all fairness, if you think BOYZ TOYZ is a good name for a car dealership, you probably think red is a sought after colour.

I have a red A3 because it stands out from those who are too concerned with residuals.

I wonder... the only E60s I have ever seen in that colour were the City of London Police armed plodmobiles.

And that's a lot of miles in three years... reckon it's ex-BiB?

Those wheels look like there from a match box model. Proportions are just all wrong.

There's a company in my locale, have a 3 series, don't know the model number, but it's an 04 reg 318 Ci, in red with black sports interior and 18" M alloys. Looks superb, the comment about better in the flesh is relevent I think. Might not work though on the larger models, saw a 8 series in red and that looked wrong.

It's got the 'sought after' tiny standard non-upgrade wheels that no-one has too.

Oh, and the garage name puts me right off.

Yep

And you wouldn't lose it in car parks in sea of resale grey

Location close enough to pick up an ex London car at auction, spec looks about right for a police car, more than 30k a year is quite a few miles.

That would be my guess.

the company is called boyz toyz and they are in high wycombe, need i say anymorehehe

on a serious note they dont give out the address of the company, the landline number isnt a local one, im local and i have never heard of these guys before despite them having a seriously large number of cars for sale!, most the pictures seem to be taken at the local cinema carpark, no pictures of the garage at all

alarm bells would be ringing if it was me
