Really? She comes across as just trying to help him out. Nowhere does she say she wants him to get rid, just that she thinks it might be a better financial option. And some bellend Yank lets rip with his misogynist views.
I know who comes across better on that thread, and it's not the blokes.

Flame me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure the reply was a cut and paste from another forum altogether where the OP did want her BF to get rid of a moneypit, and the thread was quoted here on PH. I'm blowed if I can find it though. I know who comes across better on that thread, and it's not the blokes.

As sexiest as that post is it is pretty funny, I love it. My boyfriend has had quite a few cars that have fallen apart and had to be rebuilt.. I think girlfriends should either roll up there sleeves and get involved or be supportive and make tea! Ha. Personally I like to get involved, I've had to wriggle under an rx7 on the hard shoulder of the motorway and wedge a bract into place and been dragged to the workshop a million times.. it's fun. But I am abit of petrolhead myself so i'm alittle bias.
