Why do I want this?

When was the last time you saw one of those?! I think it's the comically basic interior that does it for me. Deliciously crap.
Although quite seriously I do want it

If looking at it hasn't put you off (god knows why it wouldn't) this should help you out

Nope. Still want it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3SsqOa0hSg

Christ. Think the above suggesting some sleep is probably right

Also completely off topic but three silver Toyota Avensises (Avensii?) all next to each other in one of the pics. Bizarre.
And another one in the interior pic. Very odd.

In that video he says "12 pistons whirring away in 6 cylinders". How's that work then? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3SsqOa0hSg

...actually now I've looked at the video there may be some truth in that. I turned it off at the point where it became obvious he was about to destroy a working car just to be a t
t, but I'm guessing that comment was about the tank? So it could be that it does indeed have an opposed-piston engine.
And doesn't he look young

My first company car was a Yugo 55 GLS with body kit, alloys etc , in red.
I was soooo pissed off that I decided the only humane thing to do was to thrash it to death, which shouldn't take long.
I have to admit that I grew to love the car.
It handles like a go kart, took all the abuse, thrashing, clutchless gear changes that I could throw at it and never missed a beat.
My only disappointment with the OP's car is that is is the 45, which was a 900 cc OHV 4 speed as opposed to the 1100 (Yugo 55) or 1300 (Yugo 65) 5 speed.
IMHO Yugos were way better than any Skoda of the day.
As a result of my experiance of the 55 my mum bought a 45 which she ran for 3 years.
If only failed to start on one occasion, requiring only the points to be adjusted.
