I love my e46 330d and it does 20k a year with ease. I'd quite happily keep it another 10 yrs at the moment as I get a sick satisfaction watching the mile clock over and keeping it in good nick. However as I also consider myself a petrol head I sometimes think that really all I'm doin is driving "rep mobile"! Albeit a very good one! I'd like to know what else would as similar job but be a bit more unique. It'll b difficult, i realised although a negative term, the reasons these types of cars are labelled rep-mobiles is because so many high milers have them and they do the job very well.

Anyway suggestions for fitting alternatives have to be reliable, good mpg(over 20), good for motorways and 20k + a year, cost less than 40k new

I'm thinking some 911s, maybe tvr's, what else???
