Just to get an idea of how many pistonheaders we have in the Forces, who here currently serves for Queen and country? And what Car do you drive? (you never know there may be a pattern).

Right I'll start off,

RAF - 350z

Can I just say I'm not in the forces or ever have been.

But I have a huuuuge glowing respect for ALL our boys and girls in all the forces, whatever role they play.

Without you, we would be fked.

Our country should be proud of you all.

Thanks for you fearless hard work and dedication, not just you but all the fallen from our history too. I remember them every November with pride.

That is all. /salute/

The sentiment is appreciated and more than most people bother with but there are guys getting hurt daily, deaths weekly. Be proud of them every day.

How can I forget every time the news comes on telling of another loss in Afghanistan or some other Godforsaken hole miles from their home?

Makes me sad. I've no idea how people can join up and dedicate their lives to this risking their safety, for a country full of generally ungrateful, consumerist, greedy mouth breathers???

I know I couldn't.

Excitement, adventure, travel, money, making the world a better place, endless streams of fanny. You couldn't do that?? wink

ETA: self-improvement, learning a trade, playing with some awesome machinery.... You're SURE you couldn't do it??
