Just somewhere to start:
Audi A8 4.0 diesel: £12,995 with 49k on the clock
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1911952.htm
BMW 730d: £11,450 with 66k on the clock
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2265272.htm
Mercedes S320cdi: £11,750 with 83k on the clock
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2343762.htm
Or if you want to go a bit smaller/newer/cheaper, an E39 530d/535d (for £13k you might even get an E60 diesel of some kind) or the E-class/A6 diesels. Passat? Mondeo TDCi?
Much as I like the A8 its just too big A6 better I think.Audi A8 4.0 diesel: £12,995 with 49k on the clock

Bizarre... earlier me and some others were musing over doing a road trip up to Caithness. No real reason except that it really is as far as you can go

Much change to spare, absolutely fully loaded, why pay more than you have to
