Auction-tastic: Coys At The Autosport/PH Show
We take a look at some of the juicier lots up for grabs at the Autosport International show next weekend
One of the highlights of the Autosport/PistonHeads show held at the NEC in January (roll up for your tickets in a virtual manner at the PH show website) is always the Coys auction.
Last year, our very own RacingPete even got out his wallet, having spotted an old flame in the form of his former Austin-Sprite-turned-MG-Midget historic racing car.
This year we’ve already taken Pete’s wallet away from him, because there are some genuinely tantalising pieces in the sale. Here are just a few of them – the ones that have tickled our taste buds the most. If you fancy a closer look (or even a bid or two) the auction will be held on Saturday 15th January.
You can check out the rest of the auction lots at the Coys website
Low Mileage
Regularly Serviced
Good tread on tyres
1 'Careful' owner! lol.
Had a road going one sitting next to me at the Kent meet at the weekend, and reminded me how much I love the look of them- beats ANY hot hatch around.
But I don't think I'll ever get bored of looking at an RS200, so that would be my personal choice.
If its not, then I may be after one by the weekend
And that Focus seems a little optimistic. You can buy the 2001 Cyprus and 2002 Acropolis winning Focus for about 90 grand elsewhere.

yep typo!!
the actual car in question is est £25,000 to £28,000 and is also for sale elswhere. The photo is a Lib pic and the actual car has big alloys and is lowered etc. Its a very fast modified car but is far from standard and i dont think it has much in the way of s/history etc... so is more ideal for the speedfreak not the collector
most of the info on the website is a bit flowery to say the least and i for one would very cautious about buying one of the cheaper cars for sale there. Could be bangers in disguise!

Coys aren't to adverse to bunging the odd stter through. That no reserve 911 looks ripe for someone taking a hit on
