New car thoughts V70 T6 / S80 V8?

i've noticed the new shape V70 T6 has taken a huge drop just like the the S80 V8. i'm think of chopping in the daily hack (saab 9-3) and getting one of the above.

Anyone owned the T6 or S80 V8? Can anyone comment on the reliability and ability to take big mileage? how bad is the mpg on the T6/ V8?

the t6 is a very wide engine to get in widthways into a bay - leading to compromised turning circles. I'd imagine the v8 would be a bit better.

V8 is a superb lump, smooth and frugal (ish - well it is a V8) - Haven't driven a 3.0 T6, only the old twin turbo in an old shape S80 and to be honest didn't think it was a patch on my T5. I would guess running costs wise the T6 might be cheaper to service but the MPG will be similar between the two

thanks for the comments. i do like the idea of the v70, but looking at the few reviews of the T6, it doesn't seem good on fuel. any owners like to comment on reliability/dealer network?

bump..
i've noticed the local police use V70 T6, this morning i got to see one in action joining the motor on full reheat. it certainly wasn't short of pace. if the police use the v70 t6 then it must be reliable?! i'm moving away from the idea of s80 because the boot isn't that large.
