Evening all..

Well after selling the C43 10 days ago i've been on the look out for a replacement. I've pondered everything including an S8, 750i, XJR, Lexus, E36 M3 and even an Evo 5. I'd drawn a blank and resigned myself to an old banger until after the new year...

Then i had a chat with DeR and he recommended an E34. His sidekick Gandalf bought one a while back and by all accounts it was superb.. Great idea methinks..

So today I've bought this totally immaculate, 2 owner E34 535i SE, it has done only 46k miles eek from new. It has M Tech suspension, seats and steering wheel driving
And i didn't have to travel to the other end of the country, it was 20 miles from my doorstep smile

The only marks are a tiny dent on the offside front wing and a tiny amount of surface rust on the same wing (just as the wing rolls in to the wheel arch). I cannot believe how clean it is and how pleased I am cloud9

These are the only pictures i have until i pick it up next week...

That looks utterly stunning, lucky man!

Must be bl**dy hard going to find one with that mileage and condition these days...

Great effort.

Good find! I always found the E34 a great car to drive, and they haven't lost their good looks either. That's my kind of barge.

Good purchase Mikey! The words time and warp spring to mind. Shame to have to take her out in the snow as she looks so clean.

Stunning.

Do the radiator hoses and the water pump as a matter of urgency if they haven't been done though.

Great car.

That takes me back... mine was three times the miles and had one or two things wrong, but a proper, proper car. I loved it biggrin

Jublification in extremis, Mikey.

Looking forward to examining its quality in due course ~ the door closing 'thunk' is the opening sign of a pervasive quality rarely encountered any more.

In effect, Nephew of //M Fünf...

Mikey, welcome to the club mate! you can't beat an e34 i'm sure we'll see it in due course
and as per the advise above stick a new waterpump and 'stadt on it.

I saw this car's advert last month and thought it looked a belter.
