Up 6p in a week.

Ordinary stuff now more expensive than super was last week.

Should i stock up on tin foil hats and crates of baked beans?

I've given up looking at the price, I even do pay-at-the-pump so I don't even have to heard the staff member say the price when you pay.

That way I can pretend my motoring is free. smile

Diesel £1.29 around my area. Supermarket stuff £1.26.

(Waiting for the Tories to implement the 'we'll reduce tax when oil prices rise' promise!!)

Where on earth are you living? 119.9-122.9 for regular around this part of the world.

EDIT

Scotland has it cheap then?

I can't say that the prices bother me too much. My car takes about 50 litres to fill up, and I get nearly 400 miles from that. If the prices go up by 5p a litre that is an additional £2.50 per tank.

Hardly worth getting upset about.

i thought i'd misfilled when the pump ran past £50 [small car], then i realised it was 120.9 for regular unleaded.

hehe That's what I do, and then drive around in blissful ignorance with the display on something more interesting like GPS position/heading/speed....Until the wife switched it over to 'average mpg' setting.

Last night the true horror of running a twin turbo V8 hit me. Premium unleaded at 122.9, and an average mpg figure at the dizzy heights of....11.
But I don't care, as it sounds awesome ,and goes like the clappers biggrin

Clearly not in your case, but *shock horror* other people might use more fuel than you.

It would appear so; went to get some Super Unleaded yesterday expecting 125ish, was surprised to see it still at 120.9!! biggrin

Now if you excuse me I must go run in circles and chuck salt over my shoulder.

Hence why I said 'I can't say that the prices bother ME'.

I paid 128.9 for V-Power the other day. It doesn't affect me anymore to be honest, stopped getting stressed about it. There's more to life.

£1.29 for Super near me.

There seems to have been a very slight murmer when petrol went past £1/ltr, but now it seems acceptable that its at 20-30% more than that.

Unbelievable.

I reckon in 2-3 years it'll be £2 ltr, no problemo.

I pay 117.9 a litre in Towcester, a few miles down the road from silverstone circuit, but BP charge 119.9

having said that, my local petrol station now charge 122.9 and for fuel from a british supplier of petroleum is 123.9
