Hi

I currently own a lexus is200 and it is a brilliant car, very comfortable and reliable and loaded with kit biggrin
The downside to it is the poor MPG and it just isnt that fun to drive so I have decided to change it for either a Mini Cooper s or a Renault clio 172/182 cup.

I do a mix of motorway miles and town driving, but I also do a few road trips a year to places like the 'ring or spa and of course le mans. The odd trackday if I get time as well.

So what car would you go for and why? Does anyone have any experience with either cars? Also have you got any other suggestion my budget is around £6500/£7000

As a "other" suggestion - Would a Renault Megane Sport 225 interest you?

It's an odd shape, but it's a grower, and would be possibly quicker round a track than those you have listed...

Also has more room biggrin

what about an early S2000?

reasonably economical, reliable, rwd and fun.

Clio 182 trophy

The megane 225's are also a good buy at the moment.
