Recently bought a celica (T reg, double headlights model) and it's great apart from a "knocking" on the rear passenger side wheel. I say knocking, but it doesn't seem to make any noise, it is more of a thud that you can feel throughout the car, that goes in time with the rotation of the wheel (I.e. when I speed up, the thud speeds up and vice versa).

Any ideas much appreciated.

Thanks, Tim

A Gen 6 celica - Does your car have the Super strut suspension? Any idea?

Superstruts arent fitted to the rear.

Thud with the same frequency as wheel rotation is likely to be wheel bearing or bubble in the tyre (may not be visible from the outside, could be internal)

Thanks for the replies. I dont know too much about cars to be honest, would a wheel bearing make noise if it was that though?
