Such as a Caterham, Morgan etc.

Surely it can't be very practical? You are fifty miles away from home in the middle of nowhere, it was nice when you set off and the heavens open.

I used to. It’s never been easier with the rainfall radar and mobile internet access. Only ever got caught out properly once, in a hailstorm.

I haven’t but I’d love to try one, with a helmet obviously.

I have a car with out a windscreen (ok it's 6" high) if it rains you get wet.... No it doesn't "just go over the top if you keep the speed up"

I did 1500mile last year to Le Mans and back about half of it was biblical rain the other half was sun burn. A week of warm but overcast weather was just too much to hope for.

In the winter a good hat is handy but not one that will catch the wind clearly.

I have had several. My Westfield XI, then a Caterham 360R that I took the windscreen off and lastly a D Type replica. I found good glasses or goggles were a good bet, especially if it rained. The thing to remember is that it isn't likely to be an everyday car so you can mostly pick and choose the weather you go out in.

I have, it's just like a motorbike... wear a helmet. Drive at a decent clip and the rain gets swept over the top of the car. Simple.

Just don't go anywhere you need to turn up in a tux.

Been in and driven a few, cars without windscreens suck. Doesn't add anything to the experience and if anything takes away from it as you're either in a lid and hearing muffled sounds or dodging insects, debris and other crap that comes at you.

That looks like great fun.

Slightly O/T but I'm starting to quite like the look of the 7 type cars, even if the front looks a bit surprised or like Brum

Yes, back in the 80s. One of the big storms blew a heavy tile off a roof and it landed on the bonnet of my Citroen C15 van and bounced through the windscreen as I was driving.

No calling the RAC back then. Paid per mile and I was in High Wycombe and needed to get to Kings Cross.

Kicked out the windscreen and proceeded back down the M40 and A40 with gritted teeth hehe
