If you could (for fun but also make a point about poor driving) have an LED scrolling sign board in your car, what would you have programed in the presets?

For example:

7: >>>YOUR FOG LIGHTS ARE ON >>> IT'S RAINING YOU T...

'If you think the driver behind you is too close, slow down'

That should sort out the tailgaters.

I was on the motorway this week and it was pissing down and very dark (this was around midday). The amount of people without their lights on was staggering.

I can only assume because they have their DLRs on they think that is fine.

I know it's probably been said on PH dozens of times but I cant believe anyone thought it was a good idea to have a function that puts the front lights on but not the back ones.

I wonder if it is legal to have a scrolling programmable sign in your rear window?
I’ve seen one other than on a police car.

Exactly ; if you treat people like idiots, they turn into idiots.

I can't see any laws that would prohibit that. Buses and taxis often have matrix or even super-bright OLED displays and I'ce seen nothing in the rgs that would prevent it. I've often thought about installing a sign, but most of what I'd want to write would be censored on PH.

Probably the same person who decided the instruments should be illuminated even when no lights have been switched on.

I got scrolled by a Skoda Police car on the M6 toll recently. It said “mind your speed” in big red letters. biglaugh

Pity I didn’t have a sign, I could have nipped back passed and said. “Not really”
