I got two V11's this morning, first is for my little Peugeot Partner van:
6 Months £184.25
12 Months £335.00
Seems about right.

Second is for my McLaren 750S:
6 Months £104.50
12 Months £190.00
Shouldn't this be 600 odd quid?

So shall I just pay what they're asking and go about my day?
All the details are correct, it's definitely for the right car.

Did the Government just give us evil planet destroying car drivers a massive break? Did I miss something?

What price does it show when you do it online?

I'd just pay what they ask. What's the worst that could happen?

If the Partner was registered before April 2017 and the McLaren after that date but is more than six years old, the rates are probably correct.
The McLaren was circa £600 for years 2-6 as a result of the £400 per annum surcharge for cars over £40k new. This stops after the sixth year and the rate reverts to £190 total.

Under Starmer? 3 years inside probably! smile

Matt has a point though, I'll go on the website and see what that says.

It's not 6 years old smile

It's a new model, less than a year. I think I may have got the first customer car in the world , although another PH'er might have beat me by a day!

Done.

Lovely!

See. Buying a ridiculous car that loses 80 grand in the first year is a fiscally shrewd decision!
