Bit stumped here, trying to tax online, with my V5 and I'm getting "Vehicle details could not be found"

Very confused as I have the V5 right in front of me and I'm putting the details in correctly! Not sure what I do now!?

Is it an old V5, ie is there a newer one because you've moved or you lost it, ordering a replacement and subsequently the "lost one" turned up which is the one you are using to tax your car?

Yep. I'm an idiot. I'd saved a photo of the old one with previous owner on it. FFS.

Mods please delete this thread which is evidence I'm a moron.

We've all done similarly daft things. And some us have even admitted to them on PH. For posterity!

I did the same yesterday, My scooter is due to be returned later this month so sat down yesterday to make sure everything is in order.
MOT had expired, Didn't get a letter to advise, presumably due to it being sorned.
MOT checker told me nothing useful so decided to try taxing it as i was sure it would indicate the MOT status, did the same as the OP using a V5 from my last address and got nowhere.
Got the MOT booked and thought i'd better check it starts as it's been sitting for at least 6 months, it's completely dead, so assumed the battery is flat.
There's no key as it's one of these keyless fob things, the battery is under the seat and the only way to access it is to remove some panels and use the emergency "key" to get the seat open.
Remove 3 awkward screws and finally get the charger hooked up, left it for a while and tried again, still dead then it clicked that the battery in the key fob is dead which is a 2 minute job to change.
