Fake AA emails and phishing
Discussion
Just a heads up that there’s a lot of fake AA emails going around that are scammers attempting phishing.
The 4 things to look out for is…
The real email address of the sender.
The fact that when I’ve ignored it they’ve resent it again and again, almost daily. I think I’ve received 5 in a week.
These emails never contain my name but a generic “Dear Customer”.
The sense of urgency. For example, “special offer ends today”.
